This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases of electric vehicles, custom carts, parts, accessories, and related services from Bright Autozone Private Limited, operating under the brand "City Cab" ("the Company", "we", "us"). By placing an order with us or any of our authorised dealers, you agree to the terms below.
City Cab products — electric three-wheelers, e-scooters, and custom electric vehicles — are manufactured to order or assembled to customer specifications (including chosen colour, configuration, and accessories). Once production has commenced, materials are committed and labour is allocated. For this reason, our refund and cancellation terms reflect the made-to-order nature of these products.

We reserve the right to cancel an order in the following circumstances:
In such cases, any amount paid by you will be refunded in full within ten (10) business days, less any direct costs already incurred.
All City Cab vehicles are covered under the warranty terms provided with the vehicle at the time of delivery (typically three (3) years for the vehicle and one (1) year for the battery, subject to model and as stated in the warranty card). Defects must be reported promptly to your dealer or to us in writing.
For manufacturing defects identified during pre-delivery inspection or within the warranty period:
Wear-and-tear items, accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised modifications, and damage from non-compliance with operating instructions are excluded from warranty.
All approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Refunds typically reflect in your account within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days from the date of approval, subject to your bank's processing times.
Refund amounts will not include any non-refundable taxes, statutory fees, registration charges, or third-party costs already paid to government authorities or service providers on your behalf.
Test rides and product demonstrations are free of charge unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to refuse a test ride at our discretion, including for safety, regulatory, or operational reasons.
Custom carts (ice cream, food vending, delivery, branded units) and other bespoke products are produced to your specific design and specifications. Once design approval and production deposit are received, these orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable, except in case of confirmed manufacturing defect as covered under Section 5.
If you are not satisfied with a refund decision, please escalate the matter in writing to our Grievance Officer (see Grievance Redressal). We will respond within fifteen (15) days of receipt. If the matter remains unresolved, you may seek redress under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
